Norah Casey, businesswoman extraordinaire, told her heartbreaking story of suffering abuse from her first husband on last night's Late Late Show.
Norah met the man when she was in her early 20s in London, and spent nine years with him, with things going from bad to worse.
She said how it is her first time speaking out about the abuse, but that she wanted to highlight issues around domestic violence.
Norah spoke of horrific incidents, including one where her husband slammed her head against the side of a car.
I was also thinking “how are you going to camouflage the bruising on the side of your face?” I got up the next morning – he didn’t speak to me – I put loads of makeup on.
It's a difficult interview to watch but extremely important to understand how domestic abuse can happen anyone when they least expect it, and people took to Twitter with an outpouring of love and support for Norah.
