Sarah Finnan

A tribute to one of Britain’s biggest stars, the trailer for Channel 4’s Caroline Flack documentary comes just days after the one year anniversary of her tragic death.

Channel 4 has released the first trailer for their upcoming Caroline Flack documentary and it’s a tough watch, to say the least.

Exploring both the public and private life of the former Love Island presenter, the documentary is told through the eyes of her friends and family – featuring interviews from many of her closest confidants including her mother, twin sister Jody and good pal Olly Murs, amongst others.

Described as “emotional, intimate and candid”, a spokesperson for Channel 4 said that the documentary aims to delve beyond the headlines to “reveal the complex woman behind the public persona”.

Channel 4 commissioning editor Lee McMurray previously said that the hope was to create something that is “a testament to Caroline’s character, work and legacy”.

Beloved by so many around the world, the trailer comes just days after the one year anniversary of her death. A difficult day for all those who knew her, Laura Whitmore was amongst those who remembered the star – enlisting the help of Imelda May for a lovely musical tribute to Caroline on radio over the weekend.

No air date has been confirmed for the Caroline Flack documentary as of yet.
