There were emotional scenes in the RTE studios last night as popular sports presenter Des Cahill made his exit from the show.
Over the weeks, Des and his professional dancing partner Karen Byrne have entertained and bemused viewers alike with bizarre dance routines such as this one:
Last night, the game was finally up for Des and Karen and when Des spoke of how happy he has been strutting his stuff in front of the nation over the past few weeks, Ireland got a collective lump in its throat:
