We’ve shared a few posts by Dublin comedian Emma Doran before and we’re big fans of her witty observations and dry sense of humour. 

In her latest video, she’s drafted in the help of her dad James to help enlighten the nation as to the nuances of ‘aul fella language’. 

The clip includes a number of well-known phrases used by dads around the country and what they actually mean. Also included is the ideal way to get rid of your aul lad if you’ve had enough of him for the time being.
