Eileen Moloney from Galway turned 100 this week and her family and friends were determined to give the occasion the celebration it deserved.
As well as organising a street party near her home in Shantalla, they arranged for some well-known faces to surprise Eileen on her big day – with none other than President Micheal D Higgins turning up!
Eileen is also a big fan of presented Dáithí O’Sé and looked over the moon to meet the man himself in this video by The Connaught Tribune.
