Schoolchildren in Uruguay took some time off from their classes yesterday to take in their country’s Group A encounter with Egypt. After a fairly tame 88 minutes, it looked like the match was heading towards a 0-0 draw until defender José Giménez popped up with a late header.
Cue ecstatic celebrations as the kids jump for joy before running out into the playground in a moment that has taken Twitter by storm.
