Volvo produce some of the world’s safest vehicles and now they’re making it their business to look after the safety of cyclists. They’ve teamed up with protective gravity sports gear manufacturer POC and Ericsson to develop a world first in connected safety technology for cyclists. This partnership has paved the way for an innovative helmet concept, which will alert drivers and cyclists of an approaching bike or car helping both parties to avoid collisions. The concept will be presented at the Ericsson display at International CES 2015 in Las Vegas.
