Emmet Kirwan has posted a clip of his film Dublin Old School on Facebook, which opens in cinemas across the country today, and it looks brilliant.

The playwright is most famous for his spoken word shorts like Heartbreak and Just Sayin’ which went viral and received rave reviews after they were released on YouTube.

The film is based on the successful play by the same name, which was also written and performed by Kirwan. It tells the story of a wannabe DJ going to multiple sessions around Dublin city and running into a familiar face while he’s at it.
