Johnny Sexton spends a lot of time at the deli counter between rugby games, as anyone who has seen his series of TV ads will attest.
We know now that this habit isn't a new phenomenon because judging by this archive footage shared by RTE, Johnny Sexton has been scoffing breakfast rolls for a long time now.
The out-half has been on the scene for quite a while, having made his debut for Leinster in the 2005-06 season. Since then, he's seen and done it all including winning four Champions Cups, a Grand Slam and taking up leadership duties with his country for the 2020 Six Nations.
Before all that though, he was just a starry-eyed young fella who seemed happy enough to dream of kicking some points for Ireland while scoffing a few breakfast rolls - specifically two the night before a game and one the morning of a match.
That's the answer he gave anyway during this 2006 chat with Ireland's most intimidating interviewer of the time, Dustin the Turkey. Broadcast on this day 14 years ago, RTE has shared archive footage of Dustin grilling the shaven-headed 20-year-old who just happens to be holding a breakfast roll for reasons that are still a bit unclear.
The segment was broadcast as part of Dustin's Daily News and it portrays the young Johnny as a good sport, obediently answering questions in between Dustin's burps.
Rugby fans will recognise the steely-eyed determination as Johnny outlines his short career so far and his ambitions for the future. The three-minute interview is perfect tea break fare and you can check it out in full here.
Make sure to watch until the end for Sexton's best "go on ya good thing!"
