Morrison, who qualified to play for Ireland through his Dublin-born grandmother, was speaking about our clash with Wales on Monday and referred to us as “two British teams.”

To be fair, Clinton served Ireland with distinction between 2001 and 2006, scoring nine goals over 36 caps and he later apologised for his gaffe.
