Brilliant news for anyone who missed out on Electric Picnic tickets when they sold out in just 15 minutes last year.

The very final batch of tickets for the currently sold-out festival will be going on sale on Thursday morning at 9am - so make sure you set those reminders now.

3Plus customers will have one last chance to get their hands on tickets to the festival exclusively through the 3Plus app, which will also give them access to the 3Plus Fast Track gate located at the festival’s main entrance.

This year’s festival will be taking place from August 30 to September 1 in Stradbally, Co. Laois and just last week, Electric Picnic organisers announced over 40 new additions to the line-up that already includes the likes of The Strokes and The 1975.

Names that stand out among the new faces include Scottish favourite Gerry Cinnamon as well as music legends Richard Ashcroft and Johnny Marr. That’s not all, as they’ll have to make room for DJ Richie Hawtin, Charli XCX and rapper J Hus.

Electric Picnic 2019 tickets completely sold out in just 15 minutes after going on sale last December, while early bird tickets also sold out in record time back in September, leaving plenty of people disappointed.

It was the first time in Electric Picnic history that tickets completely sold out before any of the acts were announced.

You can find more details about the final ticket sale and festival line-up on the Electric Picnic website.
