Paint by the Pints expanding to another Irish city

Sarah Finnan

New city alert.

Corkonians will be happy to know that  Paint by the Pints is coming to a venue near you.

A popular after-work or weekend activity, people have been going mad for Paint by the Pints since it arrived on the scene. Not just for those with artistic flair, it encourages everyone to try their hand at painting and let their creative juices flow.

The pints help… or so I’ve been told.

With venues already in both Dublin and Limerick, organisers have taken to Instagram to reveal that they’re expanding to yet – this time to Cork:

“Join us for kick-off March 19th at 7pm in @clancyscork! This newly renovated venue is perfect for our paint nights.

Tickets (€28) include a free drink & donation to Children in Hospital, Ireland @chiireland.”

Clancy’s on Princes Street reopened its doors in November of last year, after a two-year closure. One of the Rebel City’s best-loved pubs, it’s also one of the city’s oldest pubs dating all the way back to 1824.

So, you can surely trust them with your drink order.

With the pint part of the night catered for, all there’s left to worry about are your painting skills. Classes are taught step-by-step by experienced guides so there’s no need to fret – whether you’re a regular Picasso or a complete novice, you’ll be taken care of.

All materials are provided, including a 12″ x16″ canvas, acrylic paint, paintbrushes and a sample painting to copy.

Maybe you’ll discover a hidden talent you never knew you had.
