Foodies and art connoisseurs will love this one.

Popular Sligo café Baker Boys has teamed up with Irish artist Lorna Watkins to curate a special four-course supper club menu inspired by her artwork.

Known for her loose and experimental style, Lorna will be unveiling her solo exhibition in Baker Boys on Friday, March 20th. Her work is characterised by layers upon layers of bright vivacious colours and marks, making it fresh and full of energy.

Big supporters of local talent and culture, Jane Lambert from Baker Boys said:

“We are honoured to be collaborating with Lorna for the launch of her solo show at Baker Boys – to run until May 2020.

Baker Boys has a policy of supporting creative artists of all disciples and look forward to hosting more exhibitions and creative events in the future.

We will keep on doing this because, for us, art, culture, food and drink are all tied up with one another.”

Diners will also be treated to an “expressive sketch” on the night, where Lorna will visit each table and create a sketch that diners can take home with them from the event.

Taking place on March 20th, the supper club will kick off at 7:30pm. Tickets cost €55 and are available through Eventbrite.
