Explore Éire: These Pods In Wicklow Are Ideal For A Romantic Getaway

Imagine waking up beside your other half in a plush bed, and looking out to the stunning East Coast of Ireland.

Three private pods have popped up on Moneylands Farm near Arklow, Co. Wicklow.

The pods include a stunning bedroom with a sea view, a little kitchenette and a bathroom. It’s in the middle of nowhere, there’s no one beside you, no one above you, no one beneath you – it can be your own haven of relaxation with no disturbances.

They also include a mini deck if you want to kick up your feet outside and get some of that fresh country air into your lungs.

The pods are high-tech and everything is powered by an iPad at the side of the bed. It powers the lights, music, curtains and television so you won’t even have to move.

It just keeps getting dreamier doesn’t it?

To top it all off, you won’t have to go far to get some tasty grub. There’sa lovely café on site that serves up a decadent lunch menu and it’s super tranquil.

The pods are also part of the B&B service on site so you can even have your breakfast delivered to your pod in the morning.

Goals.

Moneylands Farm is also situated less than a ten minute drive from Arklow town and about a 15 minute drive from Gorey, so if you’re looking to hit the shops or go exploring during the day, it’s a great location.

I’d personally recommend checking out the beaches in the area, probably one of my all-time favourite spots – they’re fab.

In the evenings, you can retire back to your mini cabin and have a cosy night in with no noise of hustle and bustle and city streets.

How romantic.

It really is a stunning spot, an oasis of calm, gorge scenery and a luxurious bed – sure you can’t go wrong really.

I predict that these beauties will be the new hot spot for couples getaways and they’ll be booked out pretty fast.

At €160 a night, it’s a pretty sweet deal.
