I don’t know about you but all I ever wanted when I was a kid was to have my own treehouse.
Sadly, my parents weren’t the practical type so I had to slum it by making a “clubhouse” behind our bushes and tying an old net around a few measly trees to make a hammock.
Lol @ my life.
Years later, during a burst of procrastination and a flick through AirBnB to see if there was anywhere cool on it, I came across a very funky treehouse.
Yep, you’ve heard me right.
A treehouse – with a bed, couches, a furry rug, beanbags, everything I would have imagined to have had in my dream house when I was a young’un.
It looks like the cutest BnB EVER.
Nestled away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is the ideal spot for a relaxing break away from reality.
It’s a cosy little place with just a few chairs and tables and a bed upstairs. Even though it’s a simple plan inside, the room really does have character with lots of quirky art on the walls.
If you’re hoping to do some sightseeing during the day, the town is only about a ten minute walk from the treehouse.
It’s warm inside, it’s insulated and has two radiators and a fireplace to perch yourself beside in the evenings.
Just sounds like the dream really, the perfect mixture between rural and urban.
It’s a super unique way to enjoy a staycation, something you won’t find in any hotel.
Plus, you get to feel like a kid again, but in a way more luxurious sense.
Feck having a treehouse when I was a kid, I wan’t one way more as an adult now, especially when it has it’s own fireplace – toasty!
