Dough Bros pizza kits are back, with an interesting new collab

If you’ve made it through three and a half lockdowns without ordering a Dough Bros Pizza Kit, it’s time to make a change.

Recently awarded Best Takeaway Pizzeria in Europe, the Dough Bros have a reputation that proceeds them. A staple of the Galway foodie scene, they adapted seamlessly to the world of meal kits back in May 2020. Not only did they deliver throughout Ireland (even to the most westerly tip of West Cork where I spent lockdown #3) but also to as many as 48 countries throughout Europe. Everyone wanted a slice of the pie, and who’d blame em.

Last year, the Dough Bros collaborated with everyone from Guinness to All About Kombucha to brighten up some otherwise fairly dreary evenings for pizza stans across the country. Now they’re back, back, back again with a brand new box of doughy goodness, as part of a collaboration with Ballymaloe Relish.

When we first got wind of this news, a healthy debate broke out in the Lovin slack chat about the concept of relish on pizza – some of us were wary, our girl Katy insists she tried the combo during isolation and “can confirm it was divine”.

I’m undecided for now, but I do know I’d go to the ends of the earth for Dough Bros – not to be dramatic or anything. If they say relish goes on pizza, sign me up.

They’ve developed two intriguing options for the new kits – their classic Meatball Hero pizza paired with Ballymaloe Fiery Relish, and an all Irish 4 cheese pie paired with the OG Ballymaloe Relish. Both are available to order now on the Dough Bros WEBSITE.

Will you be trying either of them?
