‘It’s the end of an amazing journey’ Ali’s Kitchen in Cork has closed

Katy Thornton

After 7 years in business.

Ali’s Kitchen, based on Paul Street in Cork, has sadly decided to close. They took to Instagram to share the sad news with their followers but didn’t state a reason for the closure. Ali’s Kitchen has been open in Cork for seven years, and is much loved by the community. However, there is a glimmer of hope that something new will take its place.

In the Ali’s Kitchen Instagram post, Ali said this:

I am not going too far and excited to start a New Journey. Stay tuned for an update soon.”

While Ali is unlikely to end up back in the Paul Street location, Ali’s Kitchen could simply be opening elsewhere, and by the sounds of it, that elsewhere could be extremely nearby. So for regulars of the café, you may not have to go too long without Ali’s baked goods and coffee.

Ali finished the announcement by thanking everyone who made the café a success, saying, “It’s been an incredible chapter in my life! Here’s to the next!
