Picture your perfect summer’s day. Mine includes a trip to the beach, maybe a dip in the sea (if I’m feeling brave) and something delicious to keep me cool, say, an iced-coffee, or maybe some ice-cream. If your perfect day resembles mine, and you’re looking to hit up Inch Beach, then you’re in for a treat this summer. Murphy’s ice-cream will open its seventh location this month on Inch Beach, just in time for the bank holiday weekend.

Murphy’s ice-cream is hands down one of the best on offer in Ireland. Admittedly I only had it for the first time a couple of years ago when visiting its hometown of Dingle, and I was blown away, particularly by their brown bread flavour. Absolute heaven. Now you can enjoy it after a well deserved day of fun and relaxation on Inch Beach; it truly doesn’t get better than that.
