Recall of Iceland’s ‘no cheese’ vegan products due to possible presence of milk

Iceland has issued a recall of a variety of the popular supermarket’s vegan products due to the possible presence of milk.

Six of Iceland’s no cheese vegan products have been recalled, according to a notice posted on the Food Safety Authority of Ireland’s website.

The recall was issued in Ireland on Friday and applies to all batches of the below six products, including all best before dates.

NO CHEESE Pasties 2 No Cheese & Onion Pasties, pack size: 360g
NO CHEESE Houmous Style Sauce Pizza, pack size: 284g
NO CHEESE Mediterranean Garden Pizza, pack size: 382g
NO CHEESE Italian Garden Pizza, pack size: 382g
NO CHEESE Houmous Pizza, pack size: 284g
NO CHEESE Macaroni Cheese, pack size: 350g

Consumption of the above products may be unsafe for those who are allergic to or intolerant of milk.

A post on the FSAI official website reads: “As a precaution, Iceland is recalling all batches of the above NO CHEESE vegan products due to the possible presence of milk.

“The implicated products may be unsafe for consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of milk or its constituents.
