Not all hot dogs are created equal, as this one proves without a shadow of a doubt. Firehouse Wicklow, known for their pastries, pizzas, and coffee, have come up with this delightful sandwich special: The Dawg House. It is a chilli dog, with sausage, chorizo and bean cassoulet, smoked cheddar, coriander sour cream, BBQ sauce, crispy chilies, all on a brioche roll.

One thing is for sure, you’re going to be rolling around after finishing one of these. Firehouse Wicklow opens 8.30am to 4.30pm today, and 9am to 4.30pm on Saturday and Sunday. This may be the only time you do want to get stuck into The Dawg House. Firehouse is located on Abbey Street in Wicklow Town and they take walk ins only.
