This is the limited McDonald’s menu that’s available from today

James Fenton

There is much fanfare this morning with the news that six McDonald’s drive-thru outlets in Dublin have reopened for the first time since March.

The six McDonald’s outlets in question are located at Nutgrove, Kylemore Road, East Wall, Artane, Malahide Road and Tallaght and the reopening is surely great news for fast food fans who live in those vicinities. There is a catch, however, and that’s the fact that the outlets will be operating a limited menu for the time being.

There’s still plenty available if you’re near enough to one of the chosen few spots and Big Mac enthusiasts will be happy to see it on the menu below…

A number of strict measures will be in place at the outlets to ensure the health and safety of staff and customers including a spending limit of €30 per car at drive-thrus and the installation of perspex screens in key locations. You can read about the measures in more detail here.

CEO of McDonald’s UK and Ireland Paul Pomroy said last week that “Moving in step with government guidelines, we plan to reopen all our Drive-Thrus by early June across the UK and Ireland.”
