This stunning food experience in the heart of Boyne Valley has been extended for two more weeks!

Throughout the summer, Irish foodies have travelled from all corners of the country to enjoy Allta Summer House, the intimate outdoor dining brainchild of Allta wine bar in Dublin 2.

If you haven’t yet had the chance to enjoy this unique dining experience in the ambient surroundings of Slane Castle, you’re in luck as it’s just been announced they’ll be extending the event until mid-September!

According to the post Allta will be keeping the fires burning for two more weeks, before wrapping up what will be their last summer on the banks of the Boyne. Since the end of June this year they’ve provided an intimate but lively dining experience over an open outdoor fire, focusing on sustainable Irish ingredients and showcasing the most skilled farmers, fishermen and foragers the country has to offer.

The set menu is made to share, so this is the perfect venue for a night out of catching up with pals or celebrating something special with a small group. There’s also space at the bar for drinks before or after dinner, and if you’re feeling really fancy you can even treat yourself to a night at Slane Castle (might as well, while you’re in the area like), or glamping at nearby Rock Farm. In terms of dress code they advise dressing for a party but leaving your heels at home, which tbh is music to our ears as I don’t think any of us can remember how to walk in them.

They’ve been fully booked throughout the summer, so if you’re interested act fast and book your spot for September here.
