Fast food lovers will be able to try a Double Big Mac this December as part of the new McDonald’s Christmas menu which was unveiled today.

McDonald’s have revealed that the Christmas menu will be available from Wednesday, November 18 and will feature a Double Big Mac meal, which is described as ‘four patties made with 100% Irish beef, a slice of cheese, lettuce, onion and pickles, and of course, not forgetting the unbeatable, tasty Big Mac sauce’.

There will also be a Jamaican Jerk Chicken Sandwich Meal, which is ‘two pieces of succulent crispy chicken with a spicy jerk sauce, Beechwood smoked bacon, Pepper Jack cheese, slivered onion and lettuce in a sourdough bun’.

In other news, McDonald’s Cheese Melt Dippers are back by popular demand and, since its Christmas, customers will be able to purchase a Celebrations McFlurry which features ‘soft dairy ice cream, swirled with only the best Maltesers clusters, Galaxy chocolate drops, Caramel pieces, Mars Nuggets and Twix biscuits, topped with a milk chocolate sauce’.

Due to Level 5 restrictions, McDonald’s outlets in Ireland are currently open for takeaway, delivery and drive-thru services only. Ireland is scheduled to remain in Level 5 until December 1 and you can read more about the McDonald’s Covid-19 measures here.
