St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner and we can already taste those delicious pints of the black stuff.
But did you know there are places where Guinness is even more expensive than it is in Temple Bar?
A pint of our favourite stout will set you back about €8.05 in Asia, compared to €5.31 in Europe.
If you’re lucky enough to be in South Africa for our national holiday, you’ll only end up spending €3.00 a pop.
That’s according to a new study carried out by Expedia, which also looked at the price of a pint in some of the world’s most famous Irish pubs.
Guinness will cost you €5.65 in Jonnie Foxes in Dublin, €4.60 in The Duke of York in Belfast and €4.60 in De Barra in Cork.
Over in London, a pint is €5.95 in Waxy O’Connor’s, compared to €7.20 in The Dead Rabbit in New York.
