Creme Egg Quesadillas Are A Thing Now – Just In Time For Easter

Rebecca Keane

Easter is an annual holiday celebrated usually with time off work and an opportunity to stuff one’s face with chocolate eggs – but for those sick of scoffing countless eggs there’s another option on the menu.

Deliveroo has partnered with Boojum to create a chocolatey, gooey first – Creme Egg Quesadillas.

The sweet and savoury food fusion will consist of 2 Creme Eggs, white and dark chocolate, finished with a drizzle of yoke-coloured white chocolate, all melted in a crisp warm tortilla.

Joe Groves of Deliveroo said: “It is a privilege to partner with the amazing team at Quesadillas by Boojum to bring this bizarre creation directly to our customers’ doorsteps or desks.

He added: “Two things we absolutely love in Ireland are Boojum and chocolate, and since our creativity knows no bounds, we thought, ‘why not bring these two together?’”.

The Creme Egg Quesadillas will be available exclusively from the Deliveroo app or website during Easter from April 17 to 22.

Quesadillas by Boojum of Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Belfast and Derry will be participating.

The dish is available at €9.50 (ROI) and £7.50 (NI).
