Good News Food Lovers: Freshly Chopped Opens Five Outlets Across Three Provinces

You get a salad and you get a salad and you get a salad.

Salads for everyone. 

Freshly Chopped, Ireland’s leading and original healthy fast food retailer, has  announced on Monday that it will open an unprecedented five new outlets across three provinces this week, rounding off a year that has seen the company nearly double in size. Freshly Chopped will be opening its first Waterford store today, before increasing its foot print in Cork and Galway as well as opening two new stores in Dublin, creating 75 new jobs.

Freshly Chopped’s first store in Waterford opens at City Square Shopping Centre, Arundel Square today. A new location at Turvey, Co. Dublin, will open on Tuesday (5th December) before three new restaurants are launched in Galway’s Eyre Square, Wilton in Cork and, the IFSC in Dublin on Wednesday (6th December).

The news follows the announcement of a new deal to bring the healthy fast food chain to Cyprus and a partnership which will see BWG Group become Freshly Chopped’s exclusive distributor and supplier, through its BWG Foodservice division, in an agreement valued at over €100,000 per week. As part of the deal, BWG will also offer Freshly Chopped outlets to its network of approximately 800 SPAR, SPAR Express, EUROSPAR, MACE and Londis stores. Three new Freshly Chopped outlets will initially open as part of the partnership in Dublin city creating 45 jobs.

Wednesday will be a landmark day in our history, as we travel around the country to open three outlets in three provinces, all in just 24 hours. 

All five new outlets will feature Freshly Chopped’s new store design and menu. The new menu features nine new salads including Super Food Chicken, Hot Oak Smoked Salmon and Lebanese Falafel. There are also new ingredients, including Power Grains, Guindilla Peppers and Mozzarella Balls and new dressings, including Rebel Chilli and Oriental.
