And while some restaurants gleefully offer creative and tasty options to those leading a vegan lifestyle, others are not so accommodating, or in the know.
Like this restaurant in Malaga, Spain which claims to be vegan-friendly…
But served this up to a vegan customer:
Gabbie Jarvis and her sister chose the particular restaurant for their apparent vegan-friendliness but were left hilariously disappointed by what was on offer.
Plain chopped tomatoes topped with red onion hardly constitutes a dish… let alone one that costs between €6 and €9.
