McCambridge’s is now offering vegan, gluten-free and non-alcoholic hampers

Sarah Finnan

What a time to be alive.

McCambridge’s is somewhat of a Galway institution. It’s one of the most well-recognised buildings on Shop Street and the outdoor seating is the prime location for people spotting.

It helps that they have some of the best sandwiches around too – one of those bad boys with a bag of crisps and a cuppa and you’ve got yourself quite the lunch setup.

A name synonymous with Galway and great food, they’re usually top of the list when it comes to buying Christmas gifts in the City of Tribes.

Famous for their unreal hampers, they come packed full of specially chosen and curated treats. The focus is on championing Irish goods and supporting local produce, with items being sourced from the likes of Gran Gran’s from Loughrea, Foods of Athenry, Builín Blasta and Sheridans Chocolates.

Also available online, you can also opt for gluten-free, non-alcoholic or vegan hampers.

Below is The Glas Vegan Hamper.

Speaking of the hampers, Natalie McCambridge of McCambridge’s said: “We have adapted to our customers’ needs and have broadened our produce range so that everyone is looked after this Christmas.”

Always ones to put the customer first, the family-run business has noted the change in consumer spend and is happily accommodating the increased demand for vegan, gluten-free and non-alcoholic options.

Hampers start at €35 and are deliverable throughout the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Full list of options and costings on the website.
