Space-mad youngster Adam King has had a pretty good few days as of late, receiving several messages from some of his idols. An idea headed up by Irish astronautical engineer Dr Norah Patten, she organised the whole thing as a way to “give something back to our little space hero”.
Enlisting the help of several of her own friends, colleagues and contacts in the industry, each one recorded a short video message to Adam with a robotics instructor, a program and discipline scientist and the vice president of research and innovation at NASA amongst those to get involved in the project.
