Locals down in Kildare are being asked for their help to reunite a lost dog – going by the name of Shadow – with its very worried owner.
Where, oh where, oh where is Shadow? Where could Shadow be? It’s the question Bear in the big blue house first asked us way back when we were mere tots and it’s the same question that one Kildare woman is hoping we can help answer too.
Now that we all have that song stuck in our heads, let me explain.
On the lookout for her beloved dog, one local Kildare woman is appealing for the public’s help in finding her runaway pooch. Answering to the name Shadow, the dog is probably to be found roaming somewhere in and around the Newbridge area.
A photo shared online of pet and owner together has rallied the Twittersphere, with several kindhearted locals volunteering their help in trying to track Shadow down.

Likely to be very scared, people are advised to approach Shadow “gently and cautiously” so as not to cause the animal any more distress.
