Argos Ireland has recalled a batch of fan heaters over “an electrical shock and burn risk for users.”
The product – with catalogue number 730/9687 and model number FH03 – was on sale in shops around the country but anyone who bought the affected product is being asked to return it to their nearest store where you can get a full refund.
A notice on the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission’s website reads: “Argos is recalling an upright fan heater.
“The product is a simple value 2kw upright fan heater, catalogue number 730/9687, model number FH03.
“The product does not meet the requirements of the European Union (Low Voltage Electrical Equipment) Regulations 2016 as it poses an electrical shock and burn risk for users.”
