8 Of The Hottest Summer Fashion Trends Of 2017

Rebecca Stafford

Trends are constantly changing, they’re probably changing more than most people change their bed sheets, as soon as you discover a good one it turns out that it was soooo last season.

But have no fear, here are eight of the biggest fashion trends this Summer.

1. Bralettes

Bralettes are becoming more and more popular, they’ve kicked crop tops off of the list of cute clothes. You can wear them with jeans, skirts, shorts basically anything, and you can pick up some cute ones in Penneys for just €3-5.

2. Anything Sheer

Black sheer tops are extremely popular this summer, and you can also match them with a bralette if you’re feeling saucy.

This trend is cute if you can pull it off, some outfits look weird with a sheer top and please, for the love of God, don’t put a bandeau over a sheer top.

3. Slip Dresses

Slip dresses are AMAZING. You can wear them on their own or with a shirt underneath, they’re perfect for beating the summer heat and have become really popular this summer. You can get them in Penneys along with many other shops.

4. Fishnet Socks

Anybody that spends too much time on Instagram or Tumblr will be wearing fishnet socks, and as strange as it does sounds these look super cute with vans or superstars. 11/10 would recommend.

5. Gladiator Sandals

Okay so gladiator sandals never really left summer trends but this year they’re back with a swing, heeled gladiator sandals. Not like crazy high heels but a little one so that us short girls can feel a lil better.

6. Off-Shoulder Tops

Off the shoulder tops are everywhere right now, everybody and their mothers are wearing them. You can pick them up in most shops considering that it’s really on trend right now.

7. Wide Leg Jeans

Yes, bootleg and mom jeans are making a comeback, throw your skinnies back in the wardrobe and bring out those mom jeans you’ve been keeping in your wardrobe for the past few years. I think skinny jeans are the most comfortable but sure you do you.

8. Fake Piercings

Fake piercings were always a thing, but recently fake nose rings and septum piercings have become more popular because who needs the commitment of a real piercing?
