Irish Made: We Are i nGrá With This Irish Language Jewellery Brand

Éadaoin Fitzmaurice

Gaeilge is super trendy right now and we LOVE it.

Who would have thought that after closing that exam paper all those years ago that you’d now be longing to have another day in the classroom learning off your verbs and tenses?

Ok, maybe you don’t miss the Tuiseal Ginideach, but it really does seem like people are eager to have Irish in their lives once again. I’m a big Gaeilgeoir, so as you can imagine, I’m completely buzzing about this and the interest people have taken to it. It can seem like a daunting language but even adding cúpla focal to your day is an amazing start.

Yesterday, I came across a stunning Irish jewellery brand that can add a little bit of Irish to your life.

Say hello to Enibas!

Enibas specialises in meaningful and magical pieces and hails from West Cork. Each piece is handcrafted in their Schull studio.

Each piece has it’s own phrase as Gaeilge, it’s subtle and gives it some extra character which I adore. It would be the perfect gift for someone who might be far from home.

Pieces include:

Do shaol, do thuras – Your life, your journey

Croí álainn – Beautiful heart

Go deo – Forever

and my personal fave

Grá – Love

This is part of the brand new range ANAM that was created to celebrate 21 years of Kilkenny Design. You’ll find Enibas in Kilkenny Design on Nassau Street.

Such a fab brand!
