Sure it'd have to be the Kingdom, wouldn't it?

Kerry has always been a popular spot for tourists and Irish staycationers alike - from the stunning lakeside trails through Killarney National Park to the sandy beaches and cosy pubs dotted around Dingle, it's easy to see why it's top of the list for so many when planning a holiday. But who'd have thought the green and gold of Kerry would be represented in a list of the world's top locations for highly-rated Airbnbs, much less in third place?

Following closely behind Waikato in New Zealand and Beijing, China in first and second place, county Kerry comes in third with a 96% Airbnb popularity rating. It's followed by Rio de Janeiro in Brazil with 93%, and Havana, Cuba with 91%.

According to the study by money.co.uk, Kerry scored high due to its "breath-taking cliffs, coastlines, and famous landmarks such as Torc Waterfall and Torc Mountain".

This could be your sign to get exploring Kerry before the summer's out if you haven't already. If you follow us on Insta, you'll know we're pretty big fans of the place - it's called the Kingdom for a reason after all!

Whether you fancy a yurt with its own private hot tub, a traditional stone cottage or a converted train carriage right by Inch Beach, you'll have no shortage of unique accommodation to choose from. Get planning now!
