Laura Whitmore’s Christmas message is something we can all get behind

James Fenton

It’s been a big week for Laura Whitmore, with the Bray TV presenter set to take over from Caroline Flack as the host of the upcoming winter series of Love Island.

Flack stood down from her role earlier this week after being charged with assault, making room for Whitmore to join her narrator boyfriend Iain Stirling as part of the Love Island team. Laura revealed the news on Instagram and even though it must have been a hectic week, she still found time to deliver a wholesome Christmas message to passengers on the London underground.

The advice was shared by All On The Board, a group which regularly brightens up the mornings of London commuters and a picture of Laura’s message has been shared to Twitter. In it, the 34-year-old calls on people to be conscious that Christmas isn’t a happy time for everyone and she asks that we be present in each other’s lives and give a bit of love, to family and strangers alike.

The message is displayed at North Greenwich station and you can see it in full below:

Aside from sharing words of wisdom from famous faces, All On The Board also regularly pays tribute to recently-passed celebrities and you can find more of their wholesome content here.

Laura Whitmore has plenty of experience on the reality scene, having previously hosted I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! NOW! as well as ITV ‘battle of the sexes’ show Survival Of The Fittest.

She sprang to fame as a presenter on MTV in the late 2000s and is now very much a household name in Ireland and the UK. With the Love Island gig in the New Year, Laura Whitmore’s star is sure to rise even higher and if she continues to spread the love like this then we’ll all be the better for it.
