Six Irish businesses that are doing good things for Darkness into Light this weekend

James Fenton

Darkness into Light takes place this weekend and for the second year running, it will be a socially-distanced affair.

Pieta House are asking people to raise awareness about suicide prevention by sharing their ‘sunrise moment’ – be it out your window, or on a walk, a cycle or an early morning swim.

One thing that hasn’t changed this year is the massive wave of support for Darkness into Light as individuals and businesses throw their weight behind the cause. With that in mind, we’ve listed a few spots that are doing their bit to help this year…

Brother Hubbard

The Dublin café have created Darkness into Light breakfast packs for €20 with all proceeds going towards Pieta House.

D8 Candle Co

10% of all proceeds this week will go towards Pieta House. See Instagram here.

505 Coffee

Applegreen

Anyone who makes a purchase will have the option to donate €1 onto the bill in support of Pieta House.

Celtic Ross Hotel

Their Craft coffee shop will be open at 5.55am on Saturday, and will ask people to donate €2 on top of every item purchased.

BiPolarBear x Aches

A collaboration that will see profits from their Darkness into Light t-shirt go straight to Pieta House.
