Whether you're a dab hand at fixing things yourself or not, DIY is a trend that seems to be regaining a cult following.

Thanks to movements like sustainability, many people are going it alone and doing things themselves to reduce the plastic and waste involved with buying new things - that's not to mention the pretty penny you'll save doing it yourself.

If there's something you know needs doing but you need the motivation to get your DIY on, read ahead for serious inspiration.

I find with interiors my inspiration comes and goes, I’ll get a fit of energy and do loads and then go for weeks just gorging on episodes of Suits! 👨🏼‍⚖️ This wall was empty apart from the pompon cloud I made a few weeks back and I couldn’t figure out what I wanted to put with it so I just start lashing things up on the wall to see what I liked! I want the walls to have texture and dimension and just be a bit interesting 😊 The garland of stars I made this weekend, you’ll probably catch details of that in my Instastories I’ve made loads and put them in all the girls rooms! I made the pompon cloud just using pom-poms and a bit of trial and error. The bunting I also made a long while back. The frame with the scan picture I also made! The bird pictures were gifts. The print is from @moon The small rectangular frame is from Dealz and I printed out the pictures myself 🙌🏻 #gallerywall #girlsbedroom #nurseryinspo #diyhomedecor
