A wedding day is always a lovely occasion, with a heartfelt ceremony followed by a bit of craic on the dancefloor.
However, one Galway priest decided that he wasn’t going to wait until the afters to get a bit of a boogie going and staged a mid-ceremony party during a recent wedding in Menlough.
Rois Lydon and Paudie Mannion were the lucky couple on the day and were pulled up to dance after one of their musicians started to play Jimmy Buckley’s My Wedding Day.
According to the Daily Edge, the unusual wedding was captured by Make My Day Productions, whose video has been viewed over 465,000 times since it was posted on Facebook on Friday.
This is one wedding we’d love to have been at!
