This Is How Much A Three-Bed Semi-Detached Now Costs In Every County In Ireland

A new report released by has revealed that the annual rate of inflation cooled in the first quarter of 2018 while house prices are continuing to rise. 

The report, which was published in association with Davy, found that the prices of newly listed properties nationally rose by 4.8% in Q1 while prices in Dublin prices rose by 3.3%. 

The following infographic shows the average asking price of a three-bed semi-detached home in the 26 counties of the Republic with Donegal, Westmeath, Clare and Carlow the only counties showing a decrease.

The report also revealed that apartment prices are now beginning to increase faster than other residential property types. Unsurprisingly, Dublin is the most expensive place to buy with Carlow being the cheapest.
