Christmas is quickly creeping up and some of us are worrying about squeezing into our party outfits.
But according to a new study carried out by Forza Supplements, a lack of shut-eye could be getting in the way of our diets.
In a survey of 1,000 people, three-quarters of dieters with regular sleep patterns found it easier to slim down, Express reports.
The most effective weight loss came with eight hours sleep, with the best time for bed being 10.10pm.
Good sleepers were more likely to follow regular eating routines, while poor sleepers were more prone to diet lapses.
