Sinead O’Connor announced today that she will be performing four gigs around the country later this year. The singer will be heading to Dublin, Wexford, Galway and Cork.

The tour will kick off in Galway as the Nothing Compares 2 U singer is set to play the Róisín Dubh on Thursday, October 17.

She will then play the Spiegeltent in Wexford on Thursday, October 24, and will then head to Cork Opera House on Thursday, October 26.

Finally, she will play Dublin’s Vicar Street on Sunday, October 27.

Last year, the singer treated fans to brand new material when she released her song Milestones.

This tour sees the singer return after a four-year hiatus.

O’Connor will also perform at Féile 19 (September 20-22) where she will perform some of her own music as well as some from the Songbook of Shane MacGowan.

Tickets for the above gigs are set to go on sale next Friday, August 16, at 9am.
