Belfast Police Launch Appeal After Woman ‘Spat In Taxi Driver’s Face’

Police in Belfast have launched an appeal for information after a woman allegedly spat in the face of a taxi driver on Friday March 30. 

The taxi driver, who was driving a white Nissan Quashqai, dropped the woman off at Edward Street in Belfast city. When she went to leave the car, the taxi driver said that she spat in his face.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “Her description is 5’8”, well built, black hair tied up in a headscarf, swarthy complexion. Wearing a leopard print coat, dark skirt, black tights and black knee length boots.
