BREAKING: All Areas of Drogheda Now Have Water Again

clodagh

After almost a week without water, the town of Drogheda has been reinstalled with water.

According to The Journal, Irish Water has said the town has water again after the burst pipe has been repaired.

Though there may still be some high-level areas in Drogheda where the pressure is low, it’s expected that water will return to not only Drogheda but also these areas in Meath throughout the course of the day:

  • Duleek
  • Stamillen
  • Laytown
  • Bettystown
  • Mornington
  • Donacarney
  • Grangerath
  • Southern Ashbourne

Consumers are being advised to continue conserving their water supplies for the next few days until service is 100% back to normal.

They’re also being warned that the water may be discoloured, but that it is totally safe and drinkable.
