An Irishman has been found dead at a holiday resort in The Algarve.
It was confirmed this evening that the unnamed man was discovered in an apartment in Albufeira today and the cause of death has yet to be confirmed.
According to reports, the man had been out partying on Sunday night and his body was discovered by friends earlier today.
Local police are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the man’s death but it is not yet known if it is being treated as suspicious.
The tragic news comes just a week after Irish woman Elaine O’Donovan drowned while on holidays in Lanzarote.
