BREAKING: An Irishman Has Died At An Egyptian Beach Resort

An Irishman in his 30s has died in an accident off the Egyptian coast in Dahab, a beach resort popular with tourists.

The Irish Independent reports that it is understood the man, who is reportedly from Dublin, was diving in the sea when the incident occurred.

A spokesman for the Department of Foreign Affairs has confirmed that they are aware of the tragedy and are providing consular assistance.
