Jaysus we're flying through the storm names already in 2018 as Met Eireann has just announced that Storm Georgina will blast the nation tonight.
An Orange Level wind warning has been issued for the entire country, valid from midnight until 5am Wednesday morning.
Met Eireann say that "a depression now named Storm Georgina will track to the northwest of the country tonight. Southwest winds will reach mean speeds between 65 and 80 km/h, gusting up to 120 km/h for a time tonight."

The issue of an Orange level weather warning implies that all recipients in the affected areas should prepare themselves in an appropriate way.
