After a long four years, Ibrahim Halawa has finally gotten his verdict in Egyptian court this afternoon.
The 21-year-old from Firhouse, Dublin has been in prison in Egypt since 2013 and now has been found innocent of all charges against him.
He was arrested during a political demonstration and it is expected that he will return home as soon as possible.

The Foreign Affairs Minister is delighted that the Egyptian court has reached this verdict and Ibrahim’s family are said to be hugging each other and phoning relatives ever since the news broke.
