A Man Has Died After Falling Into A Lake In Tipperary This Morning

A man in his 60s has died after falling into a lake while out walking this morning, the Irish Independent are reporting. 

The incident occurred at Terryglass on Lough Derg at around 9.30am today.

The Irish Coast Guard and the the Lough Derg RNLI lifeboat were alerted and the man was pulled ashore. 

The casualty was airlifted to Limerick University Hospital where he has since been pronounced dead.
