An all-out strike at Bus Éireann which was due to begin on Monday has been deferred, the Irish Independent are reporting.
The National Bus and Railworkers Union has reportedly said that it has accepted an invitation to talks on the financial crisis facing the company.
General Secretary Dermot O’Leary said the union had deferred its planned strike as the company had also agreed it would not impose payroll cuts.
