Two twin sisters from Carlow who went missing in Madrid last week have both now been found safe and well.
Mary-Jessica and Martha-Joan Osaro had last been seen celebrating their birthday in Centro, La Latina in Madrid on Thursday, where they have been living on and off for the past five years.
Mary was found safe but “traumatised” at a hospital on Monday, although her sister Martha remained missing until Tuesday evening, when she was also found in “a good state of health”.

A police source told The Irish Sun, “Martha Osaro was found today. I do not have information on where and exactly when.
“But I can confirm we are treating her disappearance and that of Mary Osaro, who was found yesterday, as voluntary.
“This is the end of the matter as far as the police are concerned. We are not treating this incident as a crime.”
After Mary was found on Monday, her sister Jennifer issued an update, saying, “I cannot disclose information of how I found her or where I found her. I can tell you now from the feedback I got from where I found her, she was very traumatised.”
The Carlow women’s flat was also found “turned upside down” by Jennifer after she flew out to Madrid to try and find them.
